when i read, i often do it selectively.
i dont mean to do that.
i see the words but they dont register in my mind.
i could finish reading a page, then randomly reread it from perhaps the 2nd paragraph, and realise that i dont recall having read any of that.
maybe its heaven's will that i chose econs over english lit.
