hi.back from atc. the ants there are monstrous. teeny little harmless looking black ants infested our meal bags(which contained our utensils) and gadgets, and infested us as well. during flag lowering, many were fidgeting around as we all felt tiny legs crawling on our comparatively giant legs. some tried to fight the temptation to swatt the ants off, because we were in alert position. i had to keep chanting silently: i'll be proud of myself if i manage to stay still. where is my self-discipline? ok,just awhile more before ease, so i can swat bugs then. my whole mind was filled with these thoughts. at first,i thought i was the only one who felt it, but i later found that guides from all around had received kisses from ants too. ants seem acidic. sharp stinging pain observed when causualty receives a bite. o_O the mud was cool too. i remember cassandra telling me that she liked rolling in mud over msn some months ago. heh, i guess she had fun soaking in mud then?haha: ) i thought it was fine having mud. mud gives the "camp feeling" i think. but my shoes werent exactly good, and mud went in, socks got stained brown, and i basically squished my feet in mud for the whole day until 1++am when we go sleep. same goes for all other guides who stepped in mud. i threw both pairs of shoes away after camp. grosssss. (i wore slipper home) haha. being counselor's not as easy as i thought. in my sec1/2 years, i thought: heh, wait till im yr3, i can have a relaxed camp and watch juniors slog out!> : ) but now, sigh. i had never expected the tons of proposal editing we had to do, the tons of changes made on that day itself, how the camp mood goes, how long we'd have to stand, how many times we'd have to repeat a point in an attempt to get the message across, how i'd feel disappointed in myself for not mirroring our seniors' sehness, etc. i think, as 2 or 3 others described, being a counselor is a "shag" personally, i dont know what that word means, i've never heard anything similar except for scoody doo's shaggy person, but i get the general feeling of shagness lar. haha. but still, it wasnt bad: D i liked mystery games because we could finally do something physical and let our body catch up with our mental capacity.lol. yeh, so today, some of us bathed in school. i had a great time cleaning up: D but my towels stunk and i didnt dry myself-_- well, besides that, i went for dessert with some guides too(: then hanxi and xiaowei held me as i walked on slippery grounds to the mrt station. : D i felt so touched awwww.thanks for caring about my safety: D its really very heartwarming when a person helps you, and act like its common sense to do so. they take helping others for granted, and yeah, cool: D if its a drama, you'd see that as hanxi supports me, she just walks on like its nothing while they film a close up me and i'm staring at hanxi with gratitude shining moistly in my eyes, and i give a tiny smile. yeah,so dramatic and blah, but it wasnt like that la, it was clumsier because i lacked friction and just scooted around the floor like a moron, while we laugh at me with me: ) but if you really think about it, who cares for the superficial dramatic show? the clumsy version is much better, really: ) it was raining, by the way, in case i hadnt mentioned it. we walked in the rain.:) but i didnt feel the cold in the weather today:) (if you get what i mean,haha,youre smart.im talking about the cold weather, but the heartwarming experience-_-) thanks to yall,hahaa. oh, but on the way home after reaching my station(MRT), i slipped as i scooted past the banks and a few people screamed. ._. i hadnt even walked any distance yet, but once i reached the slippery floor part, i just flew-_- i dropped my sleeping bag but hugged my guides u for dear life. phew` just instinct and luck that my guides u didnt fly across the floor-_- guides u must NEVER touch the ground. : D even when you fall down and make ladies scream. anyway, there was this especially kind lady who helped me up and asked if i was ok: D i felt as though i was still in guides because she asked"are you ok?" in caring manner,hahaa. my response to the slip was: "O_O*stonestone*OHOH!sorry!sorry for the scare, im ok(: sorry,sorry.hahaaa.*akward laugh*" -________________- weird hor?now that i think of it, i find that saying sorry was not really...suitable. haha. surprisingly,i wasnt ps for falling. i felt like laughing instead cos i thought: LOL!see what happens when hanxi's not around?HAHAA.(if she hears of this, she's going to be thick skinned again,HAHA!) and i was amused by the screams too. i'm the one who slipped, but i'm the only one there who kept quiet. -_- the rest screamed for me. -_- kinda funny situation at the point in time. ok,ranted enough. i want to sleep. bye.
